Another protest back from the 1948 torchlight.I'm slightly in the dark to what is being said here.I presume the main reason for the float is a protest about how in 1948 people were still having to live with food rations e.t.c.,even though it was three years since the end of the second world war.The donkey being the govermnet,hence 'apologies to the donkey',on the back on the van.
