Ladbroke Grove London

As far as I can tell this is Ladbroke Grove in London.I like the way there is just one car parked up in the road in central London. These photographs of London were on a camera such as the Agfa Isolette Record II, not a plate camera like most of the other photographs on this site. The shop through the years has had some business dealing down in the big smoke.
This old letter was a series of postal lessons from way back in 1916.It was written by a very stern Victorian sounding gentleman. The lessons appear to be something to do with taking life like drawings from negatives of the day.
I love the ending of the above letter. It's a great document of the time.It must of been quite a sight to open your curtains at night time and see a massive Zeppelin tonking through the sky with men is spiky hats on.
