The Plough Inn at Wigglesworth was orginally built around 1700.At the time it was a working farmhouse,then around 1750 The Plough became an ale house.The first recorded landlord was Robert Clark The Inn was kept in the Clark family for over 100 years.This is the orginal Plough Inn before the fire of 1945.These days The Plough looks the same apart from the building is about a third longer on the left hand side of the photograph.
